Dr. Alameddin is qualified as a General Practitioner since 1992 and holder of Masters Degree in Urology since 1996.
During the last few years, Dr. Alameddin has been deeply involved in Occupational Medicine field. With his diploma in Occupational Medicine from Otago University/New Zealand and Oil & Gas UK Accreditation, he provides medical services to different companies (hospitality, oil, airlines…etc) and individuals, according to the highest international standards in Occupational Medicine.

Dr. Adham is a certified Aero medical examiner for the Civil Aviation Authorities since 2010

Dr. Roger Akel, BA, MD

Dr Akel, a US Citizen, graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut in 1957 before embarking on a career at US University Hospitals that included the John Hopkins University (Internal Medicine) and the National Cancer Institute (Oncology) in Maryland, USA.  In 1961, Dr Akel also established a group practice in Beirut comprising of 13 US trained specialists. 

In 1985, he was awarded the position of Company Doctor for the prestigious Emirates Airlines that involved ensuring the pilots and cabin crew of the aircraft were fit to fly.  Dr Akel was also responsible for advising on medically safe methods of emergency evacuation and also, implementing quality care procedures for passengers travelling with the airline.

Dr Akel founded the General Medical Centre group of clinics in Jumeirah, Dubai in 1992 until 2007 and is a well- known and well-respected community medical professional.

His ethos of providing personalized care, compassion and attention to detail combined with outstanding professional service has continued throughout his career.  His vision and experience of medicine, particularly within the UAE environment, make him a valuable and inspiring asset to the Synergy Integrated Medical Centre team.

Dr. Rachel Hayek

Dr Rachel is a dual Lebanese and French Citizen who is fluent in English, Arabic and French and has over 20 years of experience in General Medicine Practice.

As a graduate of the University Claude Bernard (France) in 1991, Dr Rachel trained in key hospitals in Lyon, France. Her training is wide and extensive covering various fields of medical treatment including emergency, intensive care, internal medicine and surgery.

After completing her Post graduation studies, Dr Rachel ran her own private practice successfully for several years, along with a key role in hospital practice in Lebanon.

Dr. Rachel is also an Aviation Medical Examiner, trained in the USA and authorized since 2006 by the GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority), to conduct all aviation class medical assessments.

She has been appointed in 2012 by the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority/ USA) and CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority/ Australia ) as a designated AME in Dubai –UAE, to conduct medical examinations for all aviation classes .

She is also a member of French Order of Physicians and Lebanese Order of Physicians and has 20 years of experience in General Medicine and Hospital Practice. Dr Rachel had been a part of Dr. Akel's General Medical Clinic – (GMC) for the last 10 years before joining the Synergy Integrated Medical Centre in Al Wasl Road, Dubai.

With her friendly approach and pro-active attitude, she is able to offer her knowledge and medical experience to the Dubai community. She strongly believes in Preventive Medicine and patient education, and has developed an extensive base of loyal families and individuals who rely on her patient care.

As a GP, she can provide care on all aspects of family health, from children to elderly, including diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic illness, vaccinations, and most of all, preventive education adapted to the Dubai lifestyle.

          Dr. Suha Al Houbi

          Specialist Obstetrics and Gynecology

 

     Dr. Suha has got her bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Dubai Medical College, UAE in 1993.

    In 2009, she was nominated as the chief Gynecological and Obstetric Doctor in Accident and         Emergency Department at the Dubai Hospital.

   In 2010, she has got her Master Degree in Obs/Gyn from Middlesex University, UK and carried out   her research in temporal regulation of Placental and Germ cell and identifying Preeclamptic patients.

   Dr. Suha has been participating in several medical conferences in UAE. In February 2013, she was the co-chair in the Autism conference. In March 2013, she was a speaker at the “First Gulf Women’s Mental Health Conference”.

   From December 2010 till February 2012, she worked as a Gynecologist and Obstetrician in Fertility Centre in United Arab Emirates dealing with infertility couples examination, investigation and treatment.

After Classic studies Dr. Andrea Tosatto completed a Doctor Degree in Philosophy (University of Genova Italy 1997), a Doctor Degree in Psychology (University of Pavia Italy 2005) and a Master in Music Therapy (2008).

As a Psychologist, he has worked for a heart rehabilitation private hospital (ISCC Camogli Genova), a Juvenile Law Court (Juvenile law Court of Genova), and for Medical and Educational Centers, where he worked as an educator for psychotic, problematic or abused children and teenagers (S.A.B.A. Genova) and as an ABA therapist for autistic children (trained by the American association CARD). He has also tutored young football players of GENOA CFC spa (Italian First Division).

His approach to the patient is an integrated one, using techniques of COGNITIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY inside a framework of JUNGHIAN analysis and may combine these techniques with Elements of Yoga and Music Therapy, as needed.

Martine Nates has been in practice as an acupuncturist for fourteen years, following a 3 year full-time training course at the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1996 (now Westminster University). After her graduation, she travelled to China for further study at the Yunan Province hospital in Kunming, where she was awarded a certificate in clinical acupuncture. She has continued her professional development and has obtained qualifications in Paediatric, Obstetric and Orthopaedic acupuncture.

In addition to her private practice she has worked in the NHS and charity funded projects for many years, treating stress-related conditions as well as drug and alcohol addiction. Martine has particular experience in pregnancy and postnatal treatments, including success in turning babies to an optimal position before labour. Her practice involves a lot of fertility work and she is a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network, keeping her expertise up to date with current developments in assisted fertility.

Martine is passionate and loves her work, taking great care over her patients. She uses a combination of traditional Chinese therapies including acupuncture, massage, cupping and moxibustion.
